VOICE LESSONS
"A rose can never be a sunflower and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way."
- M. KERR

With great passion for developing, opening and strengthening the individual voice, Laura teaches singers of various styles in individual one-to-one-lessons, ensemble coaching, and also within choral voice training.
She joyfully shares her valuable vocal and musical experience with people of diverse age groups.

ABOUT VOICE LESSONS
Our voice resonates through us as an individual instrument, uniquely shaped: each instrument (each voice) has its own strengths and weaknesses, and even the solutions can vary greatly from one person to another.
The foundation of voice work is therefore to address these personal strengths and weaknesses directly and to openly explore possible paths toward solutions.
The various fields of voice work include:
- Breathing
- Sound work
- Body alignment & release of blockages
- Vocal flexibility
- Musicality
- Text interpretation
- Presentation
- Belcanto | Pop | Musical Belting
The basis for successful collaboration is trust. It is essential that singers feel free in their voice work and can rely on honest, constructive feedback.
"The human voice is the most beautiful instrument of all, but the most difficult to play."
- R. STRAUSS
"Who is an artist?
- anyone who has a soul."
- E. R. MCMANUS

BENEFITS OF SINGING
Singing lessons are much more than just learning notes and repertoire.
Singing lessons promote body awareness, strengthen breathing, influence posture, and refine perception of one's own sound. They sharpen the ear, train concentration, and increase expressiveness. Singing reduces stress and releases inner blockages. It trains creativity, promotes emotional balance, and connects body, mind, and soul in a unique way.
Those who sing gain self-confidence, get to know themselves on a new level, and discover how liberating it is to let their own voice be heard. Those who sing experience the healing power of music and gain a joy of life - an experience that extends far beyond the classroom.
Those who sing gain: expression, freedom, and joy of life.
"Singing is the foundation of music in all things. Anyone who takes up composition must sing in their movements. Anyone who plays instruments must be skilled at singing. Therefore, singing should be diligently taught to young people."
- G. P. TELEMANN
